Different Traveling Styles according to Moods

Want to travel the world? Want to do it a bit differently than all the others? There are so many ways to see the world and test your limits! It is absolutely thrilling!
There are people out there who take the concept of traveler and traveling and come up with their own twist to it. Some seemingly normal guys go on adventures and expeditions regularly and make the impossible possible. So you cannot guess the adventurous types by their looks. Maybe it is nerdy-looking-someone sitting next to you who comes under this category. Some seemingly ordinary people make traveling their life’s one sole aim as well. Some of you must have heard of the courageous couple that left their advertising jobs to travel the world. This story might seem a bit extreme, but no one can say no to the wonders of spending time with your loved ones out of the routine work life.
Travelers are incredibly diverse species. After spending some time with them and observing them in their natural habit, you will come to see that there are particular types of travelers you are guaranteed to come across. Here are some types of travelers and I believe, you are sure to be one of them.

Groupies

Groupies

The groupies are always in search of new things, and new experiences. They crave for times of enjoyment and try to amusement others at all times. They probably have no plans or ideas for their aim or goals in life, but they know that if a group of friends are leaving for Paris tonight, they will be one of them. They just want to visit new places, have a blast with people they love. They don’t have time for strangers, and life is too short to make new friends. The groupies are most comfortable around the people they trust, where they can be themselves. They normally fall in the age category of 20 to 30.

Couples

Couples

“I don’t want to be with anyone except you.” Romance is always in the air for this group of travelers. They love traveling with their soul-mate where they can share their philosophies of life and relax together away from the humdrum of work life. They love getaways and look for things that they can enjoy doing together. This couple is so lovey-dovey all the time that sometimes they have the super power to make other people gag with the love that hangs in the air. Although this sort of traveler couldn’t care less. Their sole purpose in life is to achieve happiness together. Money, friends, career and even another family comes later for them. A lot of couples who love to share their happy private lives are newly married. Very few can remain in this love-struck state after 10 years of marriage because we all know how difficult this can be. They take selfies together, keep these memories alive in their photo albums, share them on social media and they just are not afraid of telling the world how happy they are.

Retirees

Retirees

They have slogged all their life and now they want to see the world. The retirees have always had one thing in mind and that is to work hard till they were 35 and then retire and party hard to enjoy their hard-earned money. They might not be very physically fit for making and adding fun moments in their journeys, but they make up for that by spending money for customized tours. Some of them miss their goal and instead end up trying to save enough money to travel the world. They miss the mark of 35 and end up being 50 before they know it. But that doesn’t mean that they have lost their spirit. They are still eager to explore new places, taste amazing food, experience new cultures and see the sunset and rise in beautiful places that they always wanted to visit.

Family Vacationers

Family Vacationers

This traveler is probably both irritating and endearing at the same time. Mostly they have kids and they plan a vacation to get away from school and work altogether. They just want to spend some time together as a family and to see more of their children because in their normal routine they barely got to see each other. This group of travelers is most hard-working since are determined to make small sacrifices to be able to enjoy longer vacations together. A lot of times these are coupled with babies or young kids who are in school. Screaming babies who rob you of sleep all night? Tired and red eyes at work? Teenage parent problems? Pleading for caffeine in the morning but not being able to get it because you didn’t get up on time to wake the kids, and then dropped them late to school and then barking at everyone who tries to get an answer out of you before your daily dose of caffeine? If any of these ring a bell with you then you belong to this group, and, believe me, I feel for you. No one in the world deserves this vacation more than you.

Business Travelers

Business Travelers

This species of travelers is mostly the best dressed and the worst workaholics. They never plan to do anything new, because they cannot get out of work. They travel with a tight schedule, they work on presentations on the plane, and can be seen with a cup of coffee because they skip meals to complete their work. Whatever is going around them passes by in a blur. Whether there is a special occasion, they were taking their spouse for a shopping trip, or a long-time promised romantic trip, but they cannot help but sneak in their work in the middle of all this. They just travel to their destination for business and return as quick as possible to be able to spend time with their family. Their families, on the other hand, are always bickering about these types of travelers and their work habits. Chill out a bit and notice the big picture, buddy. Take a deep breath and choose to spend more time with your family.

Adventure Seekers

Adventure Seekers

To do the impossible and explore the uninhabited towns of Terabithia is the aim for their next trip. That for you, my friend, is the Adventure Seeker. They have already gone to Mount Everest and camped in the middle of the desert. They have had bonfires in valleys and are the closest to nature. They have scuba dived, parasailed and bungee-jumped from a bridge and into a river. They have had near death experiences and are still hungry for more.

Hope you recognized yourself in one or more of these. The perfect combination depends on what your aim in life is. Find out for yourself by rating yourself on a scale of 10, and let us know of other categories that you think you see around you all the time.
